Hotjar is a new powerful tool that reveals the online behaviour and voice of your users. By combining both A) Analysis and B) Feedback tools, Hotjar gives you the ‘big picture’ of how to improve your site's user experience and performance (conversion rates).

The Analysis tools allow you to measure and observe user behaviour (what users do) while the Feedback tools allow you to hear what your users have to say (Voice of User / Customer).

This plugin lets you maintain the Hotjar script even when you change your ImpressPages Theme. Don't ever worry about updating your themes and loosing analytic data from being recorded to your Hotjar account.

Installation

If you haven't yet signed up for a Hotjar account you can do it HERE

Install the plugin as any other ImpressPages plugin.
Click on the "Activate"

3. Once the plugin has been activated you need yo enter the Hotjar Id in the respective field.

4. Click "Save" and you are all set.

Usage

You can start using Hotjar on your website in just few steps:

Create a Hotjar account

To create an account, simply head over here, enter your details and create your account.

Add the Hotjar Tracking Code to your site with this plugin.

Once your tracking code is installed, you can start using any of Hotjar's 7 features: Heatmaps, Recordings, Forms, Funnels, Polls, Surveys, Recruiters. Have a look at the guides below to get started.
